The Evolution of Satsang

I feel very connected to both the simplicity of just abiding as our True
Nature as well as inviting the impulse that emerges out of the
Stillness to express itself through the qualities of Love, compassion,
creativity, and awakened action. The manifestation of True Nature that
most resonates with me is an organic merging of the Masculine and
Feminine faces of enlightenment. I define the Masculine principle as
the aspect of Being that expresses itself as the great wisdom teachings
of enlightenment throughout the ages that have a more coherent
intellectual foundation, and which focuses more upon transcendence,
discriminative clarity, the practice of meditative & inquiry
techniques, and simple Being.

Conversely, I define the
Feminine principle as the aspect of our Being that expresses itself as
Love and the compassionate action that naturally flows out of our True
Nature, and which spontaneously and effortlessly brings forth deeper
levels of unification and harmony into the world. This aspect of Being
functions more through the dynamic interaction of interpersonal
relationships and community, and the creative expression of beauty. The
Feminine aspect of enlightenment focuses more upon eminence and
embodying our True Nature in our everyday lives, engaging in social
action, selfless service, and the healing and evolution on all levels of
existence. In this organic integration of the 2 symbiotic poles of
Being's complete spectrum of expression, abiding as True Nature and the
creative action that comes out of that abidence are simultaneously
encouraged and valued in their own right for they are seen as Being's
complimentary aspects of wisdom and compassion.

This
resonant intention has created the impulse within me to experiment with
evolving the traditional satsang container as it now exists within the
contemporary, non-dual informed spiritual world. The traditional
satsang format makes a clear distinction between the teacher, the
teaching, and the spiritual community or sangha, which I feel is a more
Masculine manifestation. But I more closely resonate with a symbiotic
integration of these 3 components where the distinctions between them
become more transparent and fluid, which I feel is a more Feminine
manifestation. I feel the call to come together in a much less
structured hierarchy and collectively enter into the field of Presence
with the invitation and openness for our True Nature to manifest through
each person who attends in their own unique way, ability, and
capacity.

An openness to support this expression and
unfoldment exists because I deeply trust that our True Nature always has
the potential to manifest what is needed in the moment if it is given
the opportunity and encouragement to do so. To me this intention has
the feel of bringing together the energy of a traditional
sharing/healing circle with the collective field of Presence that is at
the essence of satsang. This integrative space invites everything that
has been known and experienced to be let go of, healed, and transmuted
by the quantum shift in perspective that allows us to know and realize
Oneness. What emerges out of Stillness and is alive in the moment is
given more attention than any knowledge, memory, or experience that we
have had in the past.

The foundational
intention of Meetings In Beings is always to invite the direct
realization of our True Nature in every individual to open and flower.
With Oneness as the platform however, the invitation for each individual
to express that realization in their own unique way and through their
own unique life experience is also offered. In this way an organic
co-exploration of the living inquiry of how to embody our True Nature in
all aspects of the human experience begins to unfold. I invite the
entire spectrum of our human experience into this inquiry because I want
everyone to get a profound sense of what living and interacting from
Oneness actually looks and feels like within their own experience and
life situation. I have been blessed to see the manifestation and
expression of this intention in a group satsang inquiry setting and look
forward to share in many more rich explorations and realizations with
people. I have witnessed that if we simply show up together in the
realization of our True Nature and innocently wait and listen for what
spontaneously wants to arise, Presence begins to express itself through
everyone gathered and brings with it a powerful ability to heal, to
awaken, and to unfold the highest Truth that undoubtedly exists within
each one of us.

Although I have tried my
best to describe in words what my intention is, one can't really get a
true sense of what I am pointing to until one experiences it firsthand.
I warmly welcome you all into this alive, dynamic satsang inquiry, and
am very curious to see how it will continue to unfold.

With Loving Openness

Greg
